Our Team
Dougal Michie
I've been the senior minister at Dural Anglican since 2018, having moved from All Saints Anglican Church in North Epping. Before full-time ministry, I worked in corporate and executive education. Married to Rachel, I have two teenage kids, a dog and a cat. I enjoy the beach, riding motorcycles, driving landcruisers, watching planes and following Australian cricket. Most of all, I love introducing people to Jesus and seeing them put their trust in Him.

Assistant Minister
I joined the team at Dural Anglican in 2023. I've worked in full-time ministry roles at a church on Sydney's North Shore and amongst workers in Sydney CBD. Before full time ministry I worked in various fields that have had a focus on people. I began following Jesus in earnest towards the end of highschool and each life season since then has provided different opportunities for my trust in Jesus to grow. The best part of working for a church is helping others get to know Jesus and love him more. I'm married to Caitlin, have two young boys and enjoy running, exercise, flying BBQs and just about anything that could be described as nerdy.
Chris Baxter
I have been a member of staff here in the Dural Parish for the past 11 years and prior to that with Bush Church Aid Society and Rector of a number of parishes in both the Diocese of Sydney and Newcastle. I also worked as a Hospital Chaplain and taught courses on Mission Perspectives.
I am married to Jenny and have one grown up married daughter and 2 grandsons. I am interested in model trains, and like watching old movies.

I began working here in the Church office in 2021. I enjoy the wide variety of tasks in my role - every week I’m involved in communications, rostering, event coordination and bookkeeping, for a start. These are all skills I developed in my previous office-based roles.
You’ll find me most Sundays at the Dural 10 am service, with my husband Jamie, and our two children (one in high school and one in primary school). We spend lots of our spare time in the local community, visiting nearby parks and cafes, and hanging out with family and friends.
