Whether ‘expected’ or not, the death of a loved one is incredibly difficult.
As well as trying to process your own grief, the time leading up to the funeral can become highly pressured.
We try to make this process as straightforward as possible, while sharing with you the comfort God offers through His Son, Jesus Christ – who conquered death by His resurrection.
The best way to see if we can accommodate your funeral is to let your funeral director know ASAP. They can then contact us to ascertain availability.
If you don’t have a funeral director, we can suggest companies we trust.
After your funeral director has been in contact with us, one of our Ministers will organise a time to meet with you to organise the service.
There is space in the service for processional music, recessional music, a eulogy or other family reflections, and a photo slideshow. There is some flexibility to incorporate other items for reflection too.
Tuesday and Thursday are the easiest weekdays for us to accommodate funerals (we don’t hold funerals on weekends).

No. Your funeral director will include this in their invoice and write a cheque to the Minister/Church (if appropriate).
Please be aware, for every funeral held in our churches, we need to employ specific people who are familiar with our digital sound desk and audio-visual equipment. This will cost $120.

Not very much. Our Ministers can officiate at a cemetery chapel if this suits your needs. The actual funeral service will be the same either way.
Cemetery chapels can offer more convenience, as they include professional facilities for a wake.
On the other hand, funeral centres are heavily booked. This will limit your options for availability. Also, the duration of services is strictly managed, and this process is outside of our control.
