We’re glad you’re here!
Our Services
We have three services every Sunday.
Each of our gatherings are a little different. But there’s always a warm welcome. There will be music and singing, prayer, a reading from the Bible and a talk.
8am
A classical prayer book service rich in Anglican tradition.
Held in the historical sandstone church, our services alternate between morning prayer and Holy Communion.
Afterwards we enjoy morning tea together.
10am
A contemporary service, including modern music, prayers and teaching from the Bible.
This service includes a dedicated kids program and a youth program for those in years 6-8.
Our service runs for about an hour, after which we enjoy morning tea and espresso coffee together.
Learn more about our kids program here.
6pm
A modern service attended by a large number of young adults and youth from local high schools.
Our music is provided by a band who leads us with a mix of contemporary and classic Christian music.
Our time ends with everyone enjoying supper together.
What to Expect
Our services usually go for just over one hour. We open by singing a few songs together, then our service leader will welcome you and encourage you to say hi to the people around you. During this time we also share any church news and announcements. We will then hear a reading from the Bible and one of our Ministers will share a message from the passage that has been read out. We finish our service with more singing and a time of prayer. Afterwards, we gather in the courtyard to enjoy food and fellowship with one another.
Our Kids Program
We believe that the good news of Jesus is for everyone. So, at St Jude’s, we offer a full kids program on Sunday morning.
Kids begin in the main service with their parents, and are led out to their programs by their leaders. We have Sunday morning programs running most weeks of the year, for children from preschool to Year 5. There’s a creche for the little ones, with audio feed of the service so parents can still be involved. Learn more about our kids and youth programs here.
